Test Drive

After a brief introduction to AVEHIL, the driver will have the chance to get familar and gain confidence on the simulator on a circuit chosen together with the AVEHIL engineers. The choice of car is based on the racecar that the driver is actually competing with.

After the first stint, to gain familiarity and confidence with the virtual racecar, the driver has 15 minutes to show his driving skills and deliver a feedback.

At the completion of the first run, the AVEHIL Performance Engineer will complete a brief analysis of the driver’s performance behind the wheel. Furthermore, the collected data are compared with existing reference data available in our system, in order to provide the driver with the first concrete areas of improvement for the following run.

The driver will then return to drive a second session armed with a set of specific information. It will be a priority for the driver to work on the aspects highlighted in the previous briefing, in order to improve performance.

The AVEHIL staff and the driver will then re-trace the entire test carried out in a final meeting at the end of the test. Obviously, a particular focus will be on the improvement and the results obtained in terms of performance and also timing.

Once the job is completed, the AVEHIL comparison algorithm will deliver to the driver an objective synthetic assessment based on real data comparison, highlighting strengths and areas where further improvement can be developed.
